Economic Development Strategy
The Economic Development Strategy was created to guide local efforts toward development. The plan outlines local demographic information and key strengths and opportunities for growth as well as weaknesses. The plan specifies certain opportunities to be pursued further in efforts to diversify and grow the economic health of the village.
Capital Improvement Plan
The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) greatly improves the budgeting process by determining the capital needs of the village alongside our projected revenues and expenses. It allows the Village to plan for improvements more than just in the current fiscal year. In a way, it is the master plan for municipal expenditures. The Planning Commission reviews and recommends approval of the CIP to the Village Council who adopts the plan. The plan is a guide for future planning and adopting the plan does not directly authorize those expenditures. The CIP covers a 6 year period and is updated annually.
Fiscal Year 2021 Budget
Paw Paw’s budget is used to guide the fiscal objectives of the village. It is collaborative effort by the Village Manager and staff who have communicated their equipment and staffing needs for the upcoming years. A living document that is subject to amendments, budgetary decisions, including projects and purchases, are informed by this narrative.
Rate and Fee Schedule
The rate and fee schedule contains most fees and charges for the Village of Paw Paw as of the date of the schedule. It is possible that some minor changes have been made since the overall schedule is approved. Please contact Village Hall for more information.
