Briggs Mill Dam Reconstruction
The Briggs Mill Dam in Paw Paw is over 120 years old and has outlasted its useful life. Severe deficiencies in the infrastructure have necessitated planning for the reconstruction of the dam. Dam repair is not a feasible option due to the age and extent of the damage. The most recent inspection report is included below. Barr Engineering has been hired by the Village to design a new dam for the area. They are currently working on the design with a goal to commence construction in 2022.
